DATHENT s.r.o. is the controller of personal data processed for AI Publishing. This policy covers the website, private library and connected ChatGPT plugin.
What we process and why
We process your account email, a salted password hash, session and connection tokens, explicitly saved project text and memory, uploaded files, draft revisions and technical timestamps to provide the service you request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We do not receive your entire ChatGPT history or automatically archive everything you generate.
We record limited service events such as connecting, saving, reopening, downloading and reaching a quota. We use these to understand usage and maintain the free service. Security rate limits and operational events are processed under our legitimate interests in secure, reliable operation (Article 6(1)(f)); you may object to this processing.
When you contact us, we process your email, category and message to answer the request or discuss a possible relationship (Article 6(1)(b) or 6(1)(f), depending on the request). The form acknowledgment is not consent to marketing. We do not use your materials to train our own AI models.
Providers and transfers
Cloudflare processes website traffic, database records, private file storage and outgoing email on our behalf. Infrastructure can involve international transfers; applicable provider data-processing terms and transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where required, govern those transfers. Contact us for information about safeguards. Your email provider receives correspondence we send to you.
When you connect ChatGPT and request project data, selected content is returned to that service. Its processing is governed separately by your OpenAI terms and privacy settings. We do not sell your personal data or make your books public.
Retention
Free projects expire thirty days after creation. Editing does not reset the clock. Access stops at expiry; scheduled cleanup removes draft and file records, normally within one day. A manually approved extension can change this date. Account details remain until account deletion. Service events and feedback database records are removed after ninety days; email correspondence is kept only while needed to resolve the request and any applicable legal obligations.
Sessions last up to seven days and plugin connections up to thirty days unless revoked earlier. Password-reset links last fifteen minutes. Rate-limit identifiers are short-lived hashes and are removed after their window. Infrastructure logs and provider recovery copies may follow the provider’s retention controls; deleted content is not available through this service.
Your control and rights
Use your library to download materials, export project data, delete files or projects, revoke ChatGPT access or delete your account. You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object where applicable by emailing info@dathent.com. We may ask for proportionate identity verification and normally respond within one month, subject to GDPR extensions.
You can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz) or your local supervisory authority. Providing an account email and saved content is necessary for the corresponding features. We do not use automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Children and third-party information
The service is intended for adults creating publications, including books for children. Do not create an account on behalf of a child or upload unnecessary identifying information about children. Only upload personal information, photographs and source material that you are entitled to use. Contact us to report material that should be removed.
Cookies and security
We use essential sign-in and authorization cookies, not advertising cookies. Passwords are hashed, accounts are isolated and files use private storage with temporary download links. Treat these links as confidential. See the cookie notice.
